Winter Knitting
This is the time of year we usually associate with knitting. We look forward to now having the time free from yard work and other outside activities to stay in and relax with quieter hobbies. But these days, it's a challenge to find them time even in the Winter. So, perhaps we need to improve the quality of our knitting rather than the quantity. Take time to learn a new skill, set aside even ½ hour to work on your knitting. Good quality supplies will make our work even more enjoyable and the result will be a nicer, more durable garment or accessory.
New Classes
Speaking of improving skills, there is a new list of classes, now including crochet. The Beginner Knitting class continues to be held on Monday evenings 6-8pm. New knitters are encouraged to just come at any point and get started. The first set of needles are free along with a few other basic tools. No boring scarves in this class unless that's what you want to make! Ask the other students- even beginners can make socks. In a relatively short time you'll be turning out hats, bags and more.
Knit & Foot Spa Night

Enjoy a soothing foot bath and massage with all natural products from Faces of Astarte and make some beautiful cards with Inky Fingers. Bring any current knitting project you like and be prepared for chatting and nibbling. We'll be offering special sales for attendees for this night only. This event will be held February 20th, 6-9pm. $20.00 Call the Shop to reserve your place.
